How do you make "systemic change"? What do these buzz words mean other than not taking responsibility? Like it or not, 75%+ of ALL violence against first nations are committed BY family and/or friends. Higher when it comes to the kids. As a school employee, if I was told to have a student's graduation hat that they decorate it removed and give them a plain one. I would have said no, she has a right to be happy for her accomplishments and if she wants to express her culture at the same time so be it. I would had told my boss I'm not taking her hat.
